This tour will give you an overview of both sides of the Elbe. You will surely be amazed how much green Dresden has to offer and how the interplay of architecture and nature fascinates again and again. Leaving the city centre you will first go in the direction of Großer Garten park and pass the Dresden Football Stadium, the German Museum of Hygiene and the Transparent Factory. You will encounter magnificent villas from the period of Historicism and Art Nouveau in the districts of Striesen and Blasewitz.

During the trip over the Blue Wonder bridge you will hear some stories and legends about this bridge and learn what Friedrich Schiller once associated with Dresden. Before you can enjoy the beautiful view of the Loschwitz Elbe slopes and the three Elbe castles you will be first welcomed by village flair in Loschwitz. Along the Elbe meadows you return to the city centre and cross the Elbe again to get to know the Neustadt side as well.

A visit to what the Guinness Book of Records calls „the most beautiful milk shop in the world“ or a walking tour through the Kunsthof Passage offer you the opportunity to get to know something oft he special charm of the quarter Äußere Neustadt.

During the subsequent walking tour from the Zwinger to the Church of Our Lady you will see the highlights of the Baroque city centre and learn about Dresden`s over 800-year history.
